Daily management of underground mining trucks covers standardized inspection, maintenance, operation control and environmental management, aiming to guarantee stable operation, extend service life and reduce safety risks in confined tunnel conditions.
Pre-operation inspection is the first essential part of daily management. Operators need to check key components before starting, including the power system, braking system, steering structure, tires and hydraulic pipelines. All protective devices, lighting and alarm modules should be verified to be functional. Abnormal oil leakage, loose connections or pressure anomalies must be handled before the truck enters the haulage route.
In-process operation management regulates driving behaviors. Speed limits, route rules and load standards should be strictly followed. Overloading and sharp turning are prohibited. Operators keep stable driving and avoid fierce acceleration or braking. Real-time status monitoring helps track working parameters and spot abnormal vibration, temperature rise or power fluctuation at an early stage.
Routine maintenance is carried out according to fixed schedules. It includes lubrication of transmission and hinge points, replacement of filter elements, checking of hydraulic oil and coolant, and fastening of bolts. Worn parts are assessed regularly for planned replacement. Maintenance records are kept completely to form traceable data for equipment condition analysis.
Post-shift management cannot be ignored. After finishing tasks, the underground mining truck should be parked at designated zones. The body is cleaned to remove accumulated ore dust and debris, which prevents dust abrasion on seals and heat dissipation parts. The power supply is cut off properly, and the whole vehicle is checked again for hidden faults.
Besides, personnel training is included in daily management. Operators and maintenance staff receive regular guidance on safety specifications and equipment structure. Good daily management reduces unexpected breakdowns, lowers operating costs and supports continuous and safe material transportation in underground mines.
